Throughout everything covered here, one thread remains constant: supporters deserve genuine care and support too, not only the people they are helping. This matters just as much for supporters as for anyone they support. This is worth treating as seriously as the support you give to others. This holds true whatever kind of support role someone happens to be in.

Reaching out for your own support is not a sign of failure, it is exactly what allows you to keep showing up for others well over time. It is a genuinely reasonable thing to prioritise for yourself too. It is worth protecting, even when everything else feels urgent right now. It matters whether the role is formal or simply personal and unpaid.

1800RESPECT is on 1800 737 732, and Lifeline is on 13 11 14, both available any hour, for you, whenever you need them. Support is there for exactly as long as you happen to need it. Whatever you are feeling right now is reason enough to call. You do not have to work through this entirely on your own.
